Tasks:
  •             Identify 6 levels of Benjamin Bloom’s cognitive domain;
  •          Differentiate between old and new version of taxonomy;
  •          Students will be able to discuss the importance of Bloom’s taxonomy for planning instruction.

 How to write Learning Objectives Using Bloom’s Taxonomy

How to write a Learning Objective (Steps):
  1.  Start with the stem sentence.
  2.  Determine the learning outcome.
  3.  Consult the Bloom’s Wheel
  4.  Write the verb and learning outcome into a statement that when combined with the stem, forms a complete sentence.
STEM SENTENCE (OLD WAY):

“After completing this module, you should be 
able to…”

STEM SENTENCE (NEW WAY):

" After completing this module, you will be able to..."

Example of a Learning Objective:

With the use of the textbookstudents will accurately define the term "family".

Audience - Students/Who
Behavior - Verbs
Condition - Under what circumstance
Degree - How well you complete task
