Definitions:

A digital native is a person born or brought up during the age of digital technology and so familiar with computers and the Internet from an early age.

A digital immigrant is a person born or brought up before the widespread use of digital technology.

Difference between synchronous and asynchronous:

Netiquette is the correct or acceptable way of using the Internet. (Dictionary.com, 2017)

• Example of Netiquette is the use of signature in emails. Steps to finding the signature feature in Gmail:

1. Settings.
2. Scroll down and select "Signature".
3. Type your signature in the signature box. (i.e.: Name, Affiliations, Telephone #, etc.)

We got some homework:

• Download an Anti-Virus program

We were introduced to...

This is what we'll be using to chronicle our reflections throughout the term. We got to create our own blog and we were guided throughout the process:

1. we learned how to set up our blog Title; mine is EduTech
2. we then learned how to set up our own blog address; mine is ronklog.blogspot.com

My challenges with this class were that:

•  the process was a bit fast due to time constraints
• the internet connection was defective, therefore it interrupted and further delayed the process.
